Private Registration creates a unique email address for each domain name. When someone sends a message to the email address that Private Registration creates for you, that email is routed according to the forwarding preference you set for your account. You can set your account to forward your email without filtering it, filter it for spam and then forward it, or not forward it at all.
For security purposes, messages are forwarded from a "do not reply" email address. Therefore, you cannot reply directly to forwarded messages. If you attempt to send a reply to a forwarded message, you'll receive an error message. This security measure ensures the privacy of your personal email address and prevents you from mistakenly exposing it.
To respond to a forwarded message, you must compose a new email message in the email account of your choice. You can find the sender's email address in the subject line of the forwarded email message.
To adjust your email forwarding preferences, see Set email forwarding for domains with privacy.
To update the email address to which your email messages are forwarded, see Update contact information for domains with privacy.
